Do you believe that the laws in the United States have as their origin Biblical ethical truths? _X_ Yes ___ No Comment: Our laws are based on British common law, which evolved from Biblical Laws and Edicts. 2. Do you believe that oughtness (what ought to be) in ethics has its origin in what God has said in the Bible? _X_ Yes ___ No Comment: 'Ought' in the sence of moral obligation certainly has origen in the Bible.
